AN ACCURATE GROUP COMPANY

Opti 599 & Opti Scan 4

The Opti 599 and Opti Scan 4 is a powerful integration of the latest generation scanning technology which allows timber processors to truly be in control of the highest recovery possible from every millimetre of every board. This use of lighting, laser and specialised patented technologies from one face to all faces of the boards now distinguishes the exact nature of the board and clearly defines knots, grain, cracks, resin, pith, stains to a resolution never seen before. By achieving this higher level of accuracy of every timber board we can now collaborate with the optimisation software to achieve the exact finished components the customer will expect. Delivering higher yields without compromising production is a revolutionary development for timber processing companies.

Applications

Opti 599
The Opti 599 is a high performance crosscut saw that can increase your productivity by up to 30% compared to traditional crosscut saws. Designed to be used in high production lines, for heavy and continuous work, it has a feed system by means of helical toothed rollers in hardened steel combined with a powerful brushless motor which ensure a feed speed of 260 mt./1 ‘. 1`.

Opti Scan 4
The Merlin Q scanner was designed for selecting and sorting soft and hardwood boards. The 4-sided multisensor system detects dimensions, quality, nodes (external and internal), resin pockets, bark, colors and other characteristics and in 200ms. optimizes and determines the cutting positions to be sent to the Opti 599 fast cutting lines .

Defect Reading System

Detects knots, medulla, resin pockets, cracks, holes, timber lack, timber lenghth, width and thickness, blue atain and tangential and radial.

Fast Detection Time

Extremely fast defect detection, cut position determination and partial grades completed in less than 200 milliseconds.

Multi Spectrum Detection

The modular multi-sensor system provides an exact profile measurement and a complete 3D reconstruction of the board.

Full Automation

The complete process from detecting to cutting requires no human intervention, resulting in an extremely high production solution.

C Series Finger Jointer & E Series Moulder

“Every step of the way, Stirling showed that they could partner with us in a meaningful way. We weren’t looking for a quick set-and-forget arrangement. We wanted a genuine collaboration that would see us through from consultancy and installation to operation and beyond.”

Chris Skeels-Piggins

CEO of CLTP

Planer Sander

“Stirling Machinery’s Planer Sander replaced the two existing sanders we had onsite. Finishing tabletops, a process that originally took two to three hours across two machines, has now been reduced to a matter of minutes in a one-pass finish. The team took the time to understand my operation, how it is run,and what we were looking for in terms of increased capacity and timber finish, and came back with a tailored solution that ticked all of the boxes. As a furniture maker of 35 years, I have been very impressed by the level of service, support and results Stirling has provided. From adding one machine, we have gained time, quality, space, output and efficiency and I couldn’t be happier.”

“What Craig and the rest of the team at Stirling care about is that the timber industry in Australia goes to a higher quality level. They want to see our customers getting the best product, they don’t just want to sell something.
