Salvador Superpush 250 Docking Saw / Stirling Machinery

Stirling Machinery is pleased to announce its appointment as the only official dealer of Italian manufacturer, Salvador machines across Australia, and New Zealand. Founded 35 years ago in Treviso, one of Europe’s key manufacturing centres, Salvador has a reputation as a leading brand in both the European and worldwide markets.

This partnership with Salvador is based on a shared set of values, focussed not only on bringing more value to customers operations, enabling them to deliver a superior product to the end-user, but also on investing in the technological future of the timber industry, and enabling efficiencies through the use of automation in machining processes.

“Stirling Machinery’s purpose is to bring new and better methods of wood machining to the Australian and New Zealand timber industries. Working with cutting edge European suppliers like Salvador means we are able to bring the latest technology to our customers” said Stirling Machinery’s Managing Director, Craig Honeyman.

The first Salvador machine, a Super Push 250 push feed saw, will arrive in Australia later this month and will be installed by the Stirling Machinery team at K&S Pallets in Victoria. This machine will be the first of its kind in Australia and New Zealand and is reflective of the new chapter in technological advancement our industry is currently experiencing.

The Stirling Machinery team will be supporting all aspects of the K&S Pallets installation including testing, safety systems and on-site machine operator training. Upgrading to this push feed saw will see several major improvements to operations at K&S Pallets, including maximising output, simplifying processes, and subsidising labour.

The Director of K&S Pallets, Victor Kyriakou said, “We’re looking forward to working with Stirling Machinery on this installation, and to the benefits integrating this machine into our operation will bring.”

Installation of the Salvador Super Push 250 commenced on-site at K&S Pallets in July 2021.

“Stirling Machinery’s Planer Sander replaced the two existing sanders we had onsite. Finishing tabletops, a process that originally took two to three hours across two machines, has now been reduced to a matter of minutes in a one-pass finish. The team took the time to understand my operation, how it is run,and what we were looking for in terms of increased capacity and timber finish, and came back with a tailored solution that ticked all of the boxes. As a furniture maker of 35 years, I have been very impressed by the level of service, support and results Stirling has provided. From adding one machine, we have gained time, quality, space, output and efficiency and I couldn’t be happier.”
