Stirling Machinery is excited to announce that we will be attending the WoodTECH 2026 conference series this June:

  • Rotorua, New Zealand — Thursday 18 & Friday 19 June 2026, Distinction Hotel Rotorua
  • Brisbane, Australia — Tuesday 23 & Wednesday 24 June 2026, voco Brisbane City Centre


What is WoodTECH?

In June 2026, the Australia and New Zealand WoodTECH conference series will bring industry leaders and technical specialists together to network and learn. The focus is on getting the best from advancing technologies, and with leading international experts presenting, there will be plenty on offer. It’s all about new ways of improving wood products.

For 2026, conference sessions will include:

  • Sawing technology developments
  • Wood treatment product advances
  • Kiln drying improvement options
  • Wood processing technologies


Hear Craig Honeyman Speak on the New Technology Workforce

Craig Honeyman, Managing Director of the Stirling Group, will be presenting at both the New Zealand and Australian events. Craig will speak on “New Technology Workforce” on Day 1, Session 2 — Advances in Mill Automation and Optimising Technologies — at 5:00pm at both locations.

Craig is the founder and Managing Director of Stirling Machinery and Accurate Australia, and is focused on helping manufacturers overcome the industry skills gap through intelligent machinery, digital tooling systems, and practical technology. His presentation will explore how new technologies are reshaping the wood processing workforce — and how manufacturers can get the best from both.
